Coaching

How We Work

We use software called Training Peaks to deliver all of our programs. This has many advantages to not only us but to the athlete as well. The software is easy to use, with an app, so you always have your session details wherever you are. You will receive daily e-mails outlining your workouts for the next 2 days, so you can prepare yourself a little in advance. The bike sessions can be downloaded to the majority of programmes, such as Zwift, Trainer Road etc., so easy to follow. Use the link below to view a sample of the sessions you can expect to see.

The majority of recording devices, such as Garmin, Polar, Suunto all have an auto-sync feature, so as soon as you have done your workout it automatically sends your data to Training Peaks, where you can analyse it or just congratulate yourself that is has been marked green. Conversely if you haven’t done the workout, it turns red! And no-one wants to see red!

We offer 2 styles of coaching, firstly we offer a weekly program that is completely tailored to your goal and your personal circumstances with regular coach contact and support. This is our preferred method of coaching as we believe programs need to be fluid as life circumstances cause interruptions. So this is most easily managed by a weekly program which we can adjust as we go and takes into account of any missed sessions or weeks.

However, we also understand this format isn’t for everybody and also offer an off-the-shelf program, whereby you select the program that is applicable to your goal and it is all there ready for you for the duration of your training schedule. These programs are still bespoke to you and will be updated periodically throughout the program as you improve.

If there isn’t a program for your goal, then we will work with you to develop one.
